Day 1
This hands-on introductory workshop will model the Numicon approach and concrete resources. It is suitable for teachers who support children through intervention strategies and is aimed at those who have some experience of Numicon as well as teachers wanting to learn more.Â
The workshop will cover:
Numicon: Theory and Methodology
Numbers and the Number System
Pattern and Algebra
Calculating
Pedagogy and Practice
Day 2
This hands-on introductory workshop will model the Numicon approach and concrete resources. It is suitable for teachers with some experience of Numicon as well as teachers wanting to learn more.

Rebecca Holland is passionate about developing maths in schools and has gained a wealth of experience from working across the UK as a Primary Teacher, Primary Mathematics Consultant and an Improving Schools Consultant.Rebecca is a lead consultant for Oxford University and has also achieved the NCETM PD standard and become an accredited PD lead whilst training globally with International Schools.
