Carl Anderson, a literacy expert, will focus on literacy instruction and assessment. He will extend learning on the nuance of reading and writing integration and enhance our workshop practices at the ES and MS level. He will provide their expertise to develop better vertical alignment of common agreements and literacy practices schoolwide.
Carl Anderson is an internationally recognized expert in the teaching of writing for grades K-8. He works as a consultant in schools and districts around the world, and is known for his conference keynotes, workshops, and in-school residencies. Carl is the author of numerous books on teaching writing, including Teaching Fantasy Writing: Lessons that Inspire Student Engagement and Creativity K-6; How To Become a Better Writing Teacher (with Matt Glover); A Teacher’s Guide to Mentor Texts K-5; A
