Ann Maree Thompson
Ann Maree Thompson is an Australian who has University qualifications in Speech Pathology, Audiology and Public Health. ( University Queensland)
She has been employed in a variety of Allied Health roles including Speech
Pathologist at the Mt Isa Base Hospital in far north west Queensland and
Clinical Advisor in Audiology to Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Ann Maree has had extensive experience in staff training and development
in the specialised field of paediatric assessment and rehabilitational
Audiology.
Ann maree has a special interest in Educational Audiology and continues
to follow trends and developments in Paediatric cochlear implantation,
hearing aids and paediatric auditory processing.
Currently living in Jakarta with her husband and 2 children, Ann Maree
continues to advise parents and teachers about Speech Pathology issues
and liaises with educational facilities regarding children with diagnosed
hearing and/or auditory processing problems.
Ann maree is a registered Audiologist, holds a Clinical Certificate with

the Audiological Society of Australia ( ASA ), and is affiliated with Speech
Pathology Australia.

Dr David Husband Dr David Husband graduated from Phillip Institute of Technology School of Chiropractic (now RMIT University) in Melbourne Australia. Dr David has 28 years experience as a chiropractor both in Australia and in Indonesia. Over the years he has served on Government committees and has lectured multidisciplinary professional and other groups. Dr David was also instrumental in forming the Asosiasi Chiropraktor Indonesia, the only internationally recognized chiropractors’ association in Indonesia. He currently practices in two locations in South Jakarta.
His presentation will be titled: “Assessment and detection of scoliosis and other common postural
defects”.  
 
Dr Louise Hewitt, MD, FACEM.
Louise works for International SOS.
With an undergraduate background in applied physics and biomedical sciences, Louise is a medical graduate with honors from the University of Queensland, Brisbane.  Her professional interests include trauma, toxicology, tropical medicine, and medical education.  She has trained in surgery gaining her Membership examinations with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and also completed her formal training in Emergency Medicine gaining her Fellowship with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.  Previously working in Malaysia and Brunei, Louise was working as a Specialist Emergency Physician in Brisbane, Australia before joining International SOS in Jakarta.  
Madan Mohan Vasandani

Dr Madan M Vasandani practices in Global Assistance Medical Centre from Monday to Friday from 7 30 AM till 2 30 PM. Dr Madan M Vasandani has been practicing family medicine in Jakarta and Bangalore, India since he gained his degree in 2004 from the medical faculty of Manipal University, Manipal-India

      He gained valuable experience during his 2 year residency in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta and has been a staff doctor at Global Assistance for 4 years where he currently holds the post of the Chief Medical Officer.

      He is fluent in English and Indonesian, and keeps abreast of medical research, is especially interested in Pediatrics and Cardiology and has a vast network of high quality, reputable local and international specialist referral.

      As your primary caregiver, Dr Madan’s goal is to provide an instrument for delivery of holistic medicine where necessary incorporating various modalities of management including, if indicated, surgical intervention, to achieve best patient outcomes.

      Dr Madan’s belief is that “communication is the key to accurate diagnosis and formulation of appropriate treatment plans.” Consequently he will take time to manage your case and ensure you return to speedy good health and wellbeing.

Dr Dyah Eko

Dr Dyah Eko is a senior physician at Global Doctor Indonesia, overseeing its healthcare business as their Medical Coordinator. After more than a decade serving the expatriate patients in Jakarta through Global Doctor Medical Center, Dr Dyah, currently is a government official working at the South Jakarta Mayor’s Office.Her dedication and hard work has earned her many loyal patients from near and far.

Lovely with children and compassionate in caring for her patients, Dr Dyah is known for her outstanding clinical skills and has worked together with many specialists in different fields in Jakarta and abroad.

Sharon Atkins RN 

Sharon is a Registered Nurse and graduated from Texas Woman's University in the USA. Her 5 years of experience mostly involves Medical-Surgical care with a variety of patient populations and a shorter period of experience with pediatric clients. She currently resides in Jakarta with her husband, David.
