Last October 2017, was Kelvin Lay's last CPAN/MDT meeting with us before he "officially" retired back to the UK! Kelvin became involved with CPAN, when it was first established in October 2014. CPAN deeply appreciates his child protection work done here in Kenya, around the world and his dedication to our group. We wish him a wonderful retirement life!
In March 2018, Dr. Doug Walker, came from the US to do two trainings at ISK. He first trained CPAN in Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) for Schools. Then for ASIA, he did Cognitive Behavioral Interventions inTrauma Schools (CBITS) for over 25 participants coming from Africa, Middle East, Russia and Kenya.
Dear CPAN and MDT;
Welcome to our new website! The purpose of the CPAN Website is to ask MDT questions, organise our meetings, agenda, support each other, share resources/best practices, and ideas that will enable us to be mindful and to advocate for child welfare in Kenya.
Our aim for the CPAN website is to update and communicate regularly with one another and have a central place to share all information related to the CPAN and MDT groups.
If you would like to add anything else to this website, please send it to me, and I will follow up promptly.
Thank you,
Heather Cronk
