Mrs. Miller

Welcome to Franklin Elementary

My name is Tabatha Miller.  I was born and raised in Faribault, Minnesota.  I attended Winona State University where I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education with an additional license in Early Childhood Education.  Upon graduating I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I taught for nine years and earned my National Board Certification. In January of 2016, I went back to school for my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction online through the University of Kansas and look to graduate in the summer of 2017.

Throughout this website you will find multiple differentiation strategies to use in a 4th grade classroom.  While looking through the strategies you will find examples of products that may be used throughout the year.  You will also find reflections of those strategies about how/when I may use them, some challenges I may encounter, as well as my plans to evaluate if the strategy is successful in the classroom.  Please feel free to look over the strategies and let me know any questions you may have.  I look forward to a year that your child will experience learning at a new level.
