The goal of Health Education and Physical Education programs in the Becker School District is to offer students educational opportunities that promote healthy, lifelong lifestyle decisions. In MN, we are required to use the 2024 National Standards for Health Education.

In 6th Grade Health Education is delivered by all Home Room teachers and thematically integrated in Language Arts.

Physical Education
Beginning in the 2015-2016 school year the Becker School District began to implement the new National Standards for Physical Education. These standards were developed by the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE). View these here.

Beginning in the 2017 - 2018 School Year students in grade 10 can select one of the following three classes to match their interest and meet a .5 credit requirement.
