At this semester of my retirement, I would like to thank all of my former students, for their passion, their performance, and their patience with me as their teacher.  If I pushed you harder than you wanted to be pushed, it was only because I wanted you to do your best and for you to be successful not only in science, but in all of your pursuits.  We erupted volcanoes, identified rocks & minerals, assembled dinosaur skeletons, made Geo timelines, graphed the weather, mapped the moon, the planets and the stars, calculated density with golf balls and toasted it with Arnold Palmers.
Yes, we worked hard on other projects and activities as well, but we always enjoyed a Life Savor, a Jolly Rancher, or a Star Burst on Friday, for 20 + years.
Thank You All, for many Great Memories.   Best Wishes Always.   Mr. Sandholm
