Pathway to College Success: This semester long class at Lake Superior College assists adult students with a GED or diploma to successfully transition to college. Preparation for Job Training: The Adult Learning Center works in collaboration with Soar Career Solutions, Community Action Duluth, the Duluth Workforce Center and Lake Superior College helping people build the academic skills necessary to be successful in a variety of career opportunities and trainings. English Language Learners: The Adult Learning Center offers classes and tutoring for immigrants and refugees with limited English skills. U.S. Citizenship preparation is also available upon request. We can help make learning English easier!
Computer Skills: Do computers and technology make you uncomfortable? The Adult Learning Center offers computer skill preparation at your pace! Work through computer skill modules with the assistance of teachers and tutors at either the Adult Learning Center or the Duluth Workforce Center. Program Registration: Please call 218-336-8790 for upcoming monthly registration dates. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon. Please plan to stay the entire 3 hours.
