ECFE: Early Childhood Family Education

ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) is a program designed for both parent(s) and children birth to 5 years old.  Parents are a child’s first and foremost educator.  ECFE’s purpose is to foster healthy families and prepare parents to become actively involved in their child’s future educational experience.  ECFE is a great way for children to make and meet friends, explore in a safe environment, develop social/emotional skills (such as sharing, taking turns, using words, separating from parents, etc.), and families to become connected with other families and school.

ECFE classes are FREE to all families!!!

Friday morning ECFE schedule: 9:00 parent/child play time, 10:00-10:15 large group time, and 10:15-10:30 parent discussion (children will have a snack and play)

Monday evening ECFE schedule: 5:30-6:00 parent/child play time, 6:00-6:15 picnic supper (bring your own sack supper), 6:15-6:30 large group time, and 6:30-7:00 Parent discussion (children will play)

For a current schedule of our ECFE day or evening classes, please click on the "Fall 2018 Schedule" found on the sidebar.

Family Fun Nights are non-traditional ECFE one-time events intended to create "family time" while meeting other families in a safe and child-friendly environment.  Most often there is no parent-child split; instead nights are intended to promote togetherness.  Some events do have a charge, while others are free.  For a schedule of monthly Family Fun Nights, please go to the sidebar and click on "Family Fun Nights 2018-2019".
