A Little About Me:

Welcome! I teach English Learners at Hutchinson Middle and High School.  I grew up in a bilingual community, with parents, grandparents, and neighbors who spoke both German and English at home.  After earning a bachelor's degree in education from the College of Saint Benedict, I earned my master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at St. Cloud State University.  I've been teaching English Learners in Hutchinson since 2009, and I love the opportunity it gives me to get to know people from different backgrounds and cultures.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading a good book and traveling.
