PEM Finishes SeasonPEM lost to Chatfield 76-60 to finish their regular season. PEM would like to congratulate all 8 seniors on an excellent career. Austin Hanson, Dalten Fox, Ethan Hugstad, Frank Cerar, Alex McGuire, Brandon Ching, Nelson Finne and Tanner Hofschulte will be missed.

Bulldogs Finish Regular SeasonBulldogs Drop Regular Season FinaleSelected as 5th Seed; Will Play at Chatfield Thursday 7 PMThe Bulldogs closed out their regular season with a 1-2 mark over the past week, losing to Chatfield last Tuesday night, mounting a great comeback against Kingsland for a win Friday night, then falling to Winona Cotter Monday night. The Bulldogs ended the season 10-16 and were awarded the 5th seed in the subsection east playoffs. Dogs Hit Highs and LowsOvertime HeartbreakBulldogs Lose in OT to Lourdes; Wallop SouthlandIn one of the most exciting games of the season, the PEM boys varsity basketball team traveled to Lourdes on Saturday and played a fiercely competitive game. It went back and forth throughout before going into overtime and Lourdes handing the Bulldogs a 66-58 loss. Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs lost to St. Charles 60-49 and beat up Southland 85-56.The Lourdes game was tight throughout, with neither team gaining more than a 5 point lead in regulation. Weekly ReportBoys Basketball Falls to 8-10Victory Over W-K; Losses to R-P & Lake CityThe PEM Boys Basketball team had a three game road week this past week and finished with one victory over Wabasha-Kellogg, sandwiched around losses to Rushford-Peterson and Lake City.The week began with a road game at Rushford against the Class A #2 ranked Trojans. PEM fought to stay in this game early but eventually the talent and experience of R-P was too much for the Dogs. Offensively the Bulldogs could not get it going, losing by the score of 68-33. Dogs Drop 1st of 3 Game WeekThe PEM Bulldogs took on the 3rd ranked team in Class A last night and the Trojans lived up to the hype. Swarming defensive pressure and quickness led to 22 Bulldog turnovers and running time to finish the game. The dogs had nice shooting in the first half bu the turnovers proved fatal as they trailed 50-22 entering the break. The final was 68-33. For the first time this season the dogs failed to have a player reach double figures. Tanner Hofschulte topped out with 8 points. The Bulldogs have a quick practice Wednesday and games Thursday and Friday to iron out the kinks.
