Learning another language is important in today’s global society. Second language skills are useful forstudents planning a career in business, politics, media, education, or service occupations. The goals of the World Language Program at St. Anthony Village High School include enabling students to speak, write, and understand a world language. Students will also gain an appreciation of the culture where the language is spoken. While studying a world language is not required to graduate from high school, most four year colleges require two to four years for admission. Students must past each semester in order to continue on with the language course.
