FAQ:  What Ifs?
What if my child loses their case?
Report the loss to the Media Center.  Students will purchase a new case for $15.

What if my child breaks the Chromebook?
  • If the damage is deemed intentional the actual repair cost will be assessed as a fine to the student.  Examples might include dents, scratches, and dings.
  • If damage doesn't necessitate repair, no fine will be issued and no repair will be done.  Examples might include 
  • If the damage affects the performance of the device a $25 fine will be issued and the repair will be completed.  Examples include a cracked screen or damaged or lost power supply.
  • If the damage to the Chromebook is totalled as determined by a district tech and needs to be replaced, a $50 fine will be issued.
What if someone steals my child's Chromebook?
Report it to the Media Center right away.  You will be asked to file a police report.  The school will not assess a fee for the first time a Chromebook is stolen.

What if my child loses the Chromebook?
Report it to the Media Center right away.  Lost Chromebooks will be assessed a $50 fee.
