Language Arts - 8

Krisi Jacobs

I have been teaching in District 197 since 2001. I have taught both 7th and 8th grade language arts at Friendly Hills Middle School, and for the last three years, I have been an Instructional Peer Coach for the district. I am returning to the classroom this year, and I am excited to be teaching 8th grade language arts.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in english education from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and a Master's degree in education from St. Mary's University in Winona, MN. I also have my K-12 Reading license from Hamline University.

When I am not teaching, I am busy raising two children. I have an eight year old daughter who is in third grade and loves soccer, running, and reading. My son is three, attends preschool, and loves tractors, diggers, and having books read to him.
