About Me:

I have been teaching in the district since 2002 and at Heritage since 2003. I grew up attending ISD 197 schools. I went to Moreland and Somerset, Grass, and then Sibley. I graduated from UWRF in 1999 and have since gotten my Master's Degree from St. Mary's University and 49 additional credits, which include an Environmental Certificate from Hamline University. I am a tree hugger at heart! My mom was a high school English teacher and an avid reader, so following in her footsteps was a natural choice for me. I live in South St. Paul with my husband of, Adam, my  son, Ozzie, who was born in 2006, and my son, Tyson, who was born in 2009. We also have a Holland Lop bunny named Mr. Floppers.  We love the Twins and St. Louis Cardinals, the Vikings, CrossFit/weightlifting, biking, swimming, hanging out with our family, reading books, playing games, and watching movies.
