Update iOS

Being on an old iPad operation system or iOS can cause programs to crash or not work properly. To update your iOS do the following:

• Be aware that the district may be blocking an iOS update because all school programs might not work with the new iOS.

• • Plug in your iPad using your cord and brick. Do not unplug the iPad during this process.

  • Make sure you have backed up Notability to your Google Drive. If not, follow the instructions here.

  • If you have room in your iCloud manually back up your iPad before continuing. Follow the instructions here.

• • Open Settings

  • Select "General" (A) then "Software Update" (B)

• • Select Download and install

• • • This could take a while so be patient.
