Enjoy Homecoming Week! Tomorrow is Twin Day - Dress like a Friend...or dress like a MN Twin!


Saturday, September 30th, is the Homecoming parade and Forestview will have a Float!  After the parade, Join Warrior Fans to cheer on the Warrior Football Team when they play the Bemidji Lumberjacks!  Go Warriors!


Forestview and Warrior light-up bracelets will be sold before school in front of the library every day this week. The cost is $5. Light up your homecoming with a shiny bracelet!


The first Builders Club meeting is coming soon. We would love to see many new members!  Let's meet on Wednesday, September 27th at 8:00 am in Mr. Hodge's room in pod 8B, room 1807.  Anyone is welcome to learn about this middle school service club.


The Builders Club strives to do great service and promote school supportive events. ​Look for signs in the hallways!



COMMUNITY ED:


Baking Club filled fast, so we added another session! We now have an option offered the second Thursdays of Oct, Nov and Dec. Spots are filling, sign up online or in the Community Ed office.


FMS SPORTS:


Grade 6 volleyball  -- There will be NO practice this Friday.

Hey Forestview!!  Next week is our Warrior Homecoming Week!

Monday is Retro Day - dress in the attire of your favorite decade!

Tuesday is Twin Day - Dress like a Friend...or dress like an MN Twin!

Wednesday is Sports Day - Dress in your favorite sports team attire!

Thursday is Pajama Day... wear your jammies or if you prefer...just be comfy!

Friday is Warrior Blue Spirit Day/hat Day and our Randy Shaver Tackle Cancer Fundraiser!  Bring $1 to wear a hat and receive a Warrior Tackle Cancer Bracelet!

Some of our Varsity Warrior Football Team will be visiting Friday morning!

There will be an Equestrian Club informational meeting today in Mrs. Hopperstad's room 1702 from 3:15-4:15. The club is free and you don't have to be a horse owner to join.

6th Grade Band: This week we begin our regular band lesson schedule. Today all saxophones and percussion will have lessons during your 7th hour music time which is the first half of the hour for teams C and D and second half of the hour for teams A and B. Please attend your lesson even if you forget your instrument.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will start Tuesday, September 19.  Meetings run from 7:30-8:00 am in room 1718 in Team 7A each Tuesday. Come for doughnuts, devos and fellowship with other athletes in your school, though you do not need to be an athlete to attend! Contact Kirk Lingenfelter in 7B with questions.



Students, due to the large enrollment in our Power Conditioning program, only students who are registered for Power Conditioning will be to attend daily. This is to ensure safety and security for our students and supervisor in the weight room facility.  




Picture proofs and packages from September 14th's Picture Day, should be arriving the first week in October.


Picture Day orders forms will be accept in the Main office until Wednesday, September 20th.

Order forms will not be accepted after that day. Online purchasing is available until Monday evening on September 18th.


There will be another opportunity to purchase pictures from the Picture Day proofs once they arrive in early October.


Picture Re-take day will be on Friday, October 13th.  At this time new students, ONLY students absent on September 14th, new purchasers (please bring a copy of your online purchase confirmation with you), or those wishing to have a retake done (the entire package must be returned at that time) will be allowed to leave their class to come down for a re-take.

All students who ride busses 100-110 will report directly to the cafetorium after school.  They will remain in the cafetorium until 3:20.  At that time, they will be released to the north side to board their bus.


Forestview will be having a Test Drive Event at Mills Ford tomorrow!  Test Drive times are 9 am - 4 pm and take about 20 minutes from start to finish.


The library is open for all grades! Please make sure you have the date and time you leave your classroom on your agenda pass.

6th Grade Band: Today all Flutes and Clarinets meet during their 7th hour music time, Teams C/D the first half of the 7th hour, A/B the second half of 7th hour. Friday all trumpets, trombones, and baritones have lessons.

6th Grade Band: Today all percussion have lessons at their regular band time. Tomorrow Clarinets and Flutes have lessons. Teams C and D the first half of 7th hour, Teams A and B the second half of 7th hour.


All students who ride busses 100-110 will report directly to the cafetorium after school.  They will remain in the cafetorium until 3:20.  At that time, they will be released to the north side to board their bus.


Students interested in joining student council this year should pick up and complete the intention form located in the main office. The form is due Tuesday, September 12th.  All interested students should complete the form.  The Council will be selected and announced by Thursday, September 14th. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Kennedy in 7B.


The school store is now open before and after school.  Times are 8:00-8:15A and 3:00-3:15P.  It will have school supplies, drinks, snacks, and clothing.
