**This is the last announcements mailing for the year. Next fall, an email will be sent out with an invitation to re-subscribe for next year. Look for that email in late August.

HAPPY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!


Students..... A Minnesota boat safety water course is being offered on North Long Lake on Wednesday, June 20th.  The boat safety course is open to students age 12-17. Class size is limited to 25 participants.. Registration is from 8:30 - 9:00 at Northern Cowboy's Restaurant located on Highway 371.  Contact Anita to register at 763-245-4741.


The library will be open all summer on Wednesdays from 11AM - 1PM. Stop by and grab some books to read during the summer months! Don’t forget that our e-library is also available 24/7!

Student council - reminder that there is a student council meeting in Mrs. Kennedy’s room after school today.


From the library: We will have a few carts of books located outside the library all day on Friday. You may take whatever books you’d like.


The library will be open all summer on Wednesdays from 11AM - 1PM. Stop by and grab some books to read during the summer months! Don’t forget that our e-library is also available 24/7!


We still have about 340 overdue books - please keep looking for those missing books!

Attention 6th, 7th and 8th grade students: Today is the Forestview Fun Run starting at 9:00 am. Please report to your first hour class and your teacher will direct you to the start.


More Fun Run Information! Students with asthma, please use your inhaler prior to the run. Diabetic students, please report to the nurses office prior to running.


Today is the last day for the Scholastic "Buy One, Get One Free" Book Fair in the Media Center from 8:00 am - 3:45   Please get a pass from your teacher to come to the Book Fair during class.


6th grade Band and Orchestra: All Friday band and orchestra students from all teams have class for all of 7th hour today, from 1:49-2:22.  See you at your last Friday lesson of the year!


Please look for overdue books over the long weekend and return them to the library next week. We currently have about 560 overdue books still out!!

Eighth grade: For many of you who are busy with after school activities throughout the school year, summer may be the best time to take Driver Education. All students who are 15 or will be 15 in the next 10 months will be allowed to register for Dr Ed this summer through Community Education.

Classes will be held at the South Campus and will be offered at least six times during the summer. You can register online at isd181.org - Community Education - registration. If you have problems or questions call Community Education at 454-6924

Attention Wrestlers, there will be an informational meeting about summer wrestling opportunities today in the lower level of the library with Coach White at 8:10a.m.

The Forestview Yearbook is here. There will be a less than 30 yearbooks for sale tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, starting at 8:00AM, in front of the Media Center for $40. Books will be sold on a first come, first serve basis, and there will be no holds. When they are gone they are gone!

  • 6th Grade Choir: All boys from all pods come to choir for the 1st half of the hour. We will meet on the stage. All C/D blue and purple girls come to choir the 2nd half of the hour. We will meet on the stage.

  • All Choir Students: 6th Grade Girls (Pods C/D) and 7th Grade Girls (Day 1) have a concert at 7:15 pm tonight. All 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Boys have a concert at 7:15 pm tonight.

  • All Choir Students: 6th Grade Girls (Pods A/B) and 8th Grade Girls (Day 1) have a concert at 6:00 pm tonight. 7th Grade Girls (Day 2) and 8th Grade Girls (Day 2) have a concert at 7:15 pm.


7th Grade Choir Boys: Remember, you are excused at 8:55 AM this morning to come down to the stage for practice with the 8th grade boys!

7th and 8th Grade Girls Choir: Day 2 girls still have choir today. 8th Grade Girls come to choir during 1st hour and 7th Grade Girls come to choir during 2nd hour.

Hey 5th and 6th graders, this is a reminder that we will have the annual Dance and Fun Night tonight from 6-8 pm. Cost is $5.  If you are not in a sport on Friday night, you should plan to go home as usual and return for the dance at 6 pm. Please also note that you will not be able to get to your lockers while at the dance. If you will be bringing money or phones, please have a way to keep them safe!  Hope to see you there!!

Choir students: All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys choir members should report to the choir room immediately for a combined rehearsal.

6th Grade Choir: No boys choir today. 6th Grade Girls meet in the choir room during their normal choir times. A/B girls come for the first half, C/D girls come for the second half.

Students and staff: The Forestview Middle School Future Problem Solving teams will be selling donuts for $1 each this Friday in the main entries in order to raise funds to pay for their trip to the International Competition in LaCrosse, Wisconsin June 7-10. Please consider purchasing a donut to support the teams. Donations are also appreciated. 5.17
