I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for the Brainerd School District since 2001.  Prior to that I worked for the Anoka-Hennepin School district and in a health care setting.  Currently I work at Garfield Elementary School where I have been since 2013.

I attended St. Cloud State University as an undergrad and earned my Master's of Science degree at the University of North Dakota.  In addition to being an SLP I coach fastpitch softball at the junior varsity/varsity level and I am on the Education MN Brainerd's Governing Board.

I live in Merrifield, MN with my two daughters and our black lab.  As a family we like to read, camp, play sports and hang out at coffee shops.

For fun I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends.  I enjoy participating in races, being outside and dabbling in the world of politics.  I genuinely enjoy my job, my co-workers and the students I see every day.
Speech Language Pathology services are available to
those students who meet MN state entrance criteria and have an educational need in the areas of communication.  Some of the areas of communication may include: articulation, language, fluency, developmental delay and autism.  Speech Language Pathologists work closely with regular education teachers and special education teachers to provide support for students to build effective communication skills which impact their academic, emotional and social development.

If you have questions regarding your child's speech or language please talk to their teacher to express your concern.
