Salvador A. Núñez, M.S., CCC-SLP

Hello parents! My name is Salvador Nunez and I have been a speech-language pathologist with Eastern Carver County Schools since 2014. Before coming to ECCS, I worked as a bilingual speech-language pathologist in California for 7 years. I have worked with a variety of age groups, including early childhood, elementary, and middle school. I love working with students to improve their speech and language skills and am excited to be working with students at Kinder Academy and La Academia. 

I am also a member of the BRIDGE (Bilingual Response to Implement Dual Gap Evaluations) team. The BRIDGE team works with students and families throughout the district who are culturally and linguistically diverse to ensure successful learning for all.

About me:

I obtained my bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach, and my master's degree from Marquette University. My wife and I moved to Minnesota in 2014 and we love living in Chaska. I enjoy playing basketball, baseball, and volleyball, but my favorite activity is spending time outdoors with my wife and kids.

¡Hola padres! Mi nombre es Salvador Núñez y he sido un patólogo del habla-lenguaje para Eastern Carver County Schools desde el 2014. Antes de venir al distrito, trabajé como un patólogo del habla-lenguaje bilingüe en California por 7 años. He trabajado con una variedad de grupos de edad, incluyendo la primera infancia, primaria y secundaria. Me encanta trabajar con los estudiantes para mejorar sus habilidades del habla y lenguaje y estoy muy contento de trabajar con estudiantes de Kinder Academy y La Academia.

También soy miembro del equipo BRIDGE (PUENTE en español). El equipo BRIDGE trabaja con los alumnos y sus familias los cuales tienen diversidad cultural y del idioma para asegurar el éxito del aprendizaje para todos.

Acerca de mí:

Obtuve mi bachillerato de la Universidad Estatal de California, Long Beach y mi maestría de la Universidad de Marquette. Mi esposa y yo nos mudamos a Minnesota en 2014 y nos encanta vivir en Chaska. Me gusta jugar basquetbol (baloncesto), béisbol y voleibol, pero mi actividad favorita es pasar tiempo afuera con mi esposa e hijos.
