Abstract: 

Much of the past quarter century of cyber security and risk reduction has been focused on technology securing technology. Using technology to create a managed and secure perimeter across first-party infrastructure.  Firewalls for the network.  WAFs for web applications.  EDR for the endpoint devices. ZTNA and SSE being some of the latest trends.  But the point of all of this isn’t the technologies they secure, it’s the data behind and within the infrastructure. Recognizing this, the perceivable attack surface expands quickly into the third party ecosystem, and a data-centric approach to risk reduction, information governance and compliance take center stage for next-gen cyber thinkers.  So how to tackle it?  Good question.  Certainly worth discussing…

A pioneer in security and analytics, Yaron has played a leading role in the creation of the Web Application Security space and took several products/organizations from early stage to commercially deployed, scalable solutions. Before joining Kiteworks, Yaron was CEO and Founder of Vieu Labs where he led the creation of new modalities for interacting and collaborating through video. Previously, he was the Chief Product Officer at Quantifind where he helped transform raw technology into a predictive analytics solution for marketing executives. Yaron has filed 16 patents.
