Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Studies
The Department of Political Science and International Studies invites applications for a tenure-track position in International Relations at the Assistant Professor level, to begin in Fall 2010. Review of applications will begin on October 20, 2009, and continue until the position is filled. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in International Relations including core courses: International Law and Organizations, Approaches to International Relations, United States National Security, U.S. Foreign Policy, as well as Scope and Methods of Political Science Research. Preference will be given to applicants with secondary expertise in Asia and the Middle East. Applicants must be willing to participate in the College’s First Year Seminar and other general education requirements.
Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching, research, and service in a liberal arts community. Ph.D. preferred, ABD required.
