Assistant Professor, International Relations/Comparative Politics
The University of Wyoming’s Department of Political Science, in conjunction with the International Studies Program, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2010 (position #0724). PHD (or ABD near completion of the PHD) in political science or international studies required. Primary teaching responsibilities involve introduction to international relations and courses in international relations (except American foreign policy or national security policy) and/or comparative politics (focusing on any region except Europe or East Asia). Outreach/distance learning instruction is possible. We are seeking a dynamic scholar who combines an active research agenda with excellent teaching and student advising. Salary is competitive.
