Postdoctoral Fellow, Humanitarianism & Conflict Response

The University of Manchester invites applications for a new postdoctoral fellowship in the broad areas of HUMANITARIANISM & CONFLICT RESPONSE, tenable from 1 February 2010 to 31 January 2013, to be based at the University’s newly-established Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute, which is directed by Dr Rony Brauman, ex-president of Médecins Sans Frontières. This postdoctoral fellowship represents an exciting opportunity to take part in a radical innovation that brings together staff in medicine and health care, development studies, drama and history.

The vision for the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) at the University of Manchester has been inspired by the need to conduct rigorous research and to support postgraduate training on the impact and outcomes of contemporary and historical crises.
