Unites States Military Academy


The Combating Terrorism Center in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor position.  The selected individual will teach up to two undergraduate courses per semester in the Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) at the United States Military Academy, a 4-year accredited college.  The subject matter for the courses includes terrorism, counterterrorism, homeland security, area studies, and intelligence.  CTC professors are expected to maintain a rigorous research and publication agenda.  A Ph.D. in Philosophy that includes a major study in political science, public policy, near east studies, sociology, or closely related field is required.  Applicants with expertise or field work in the Middle East and/or North Africa are preferred.  Foreign language skills are highly desirable.
