Assistant Professor, International Relations

The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position in International Relations. This position requires advanced quantitative methodological skills. The position is open as to theoretical specialization or regional focus.

An applicant’s record of performance must provide evidence of outstanding research potential and the ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate level in international relations. The successful candidate also will be expected to contribute to teaching in the political methodology subfield in the Department, particularly at the graduate level.

Appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor, but appointment at a higher rank is possible under exceptional circumstances. Candidates should have already have completed the PhD or be very near completion.
