Watson Institute for International Studies
The Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University seeks several recent PhDs for three year residential visiting fellowships, beginning July 1, 2010. The mission of the Watson Institute is to pursue interdisciplinary research on pressing global issues and to foster more direct engagements between scholarship and policy and public debates. Successful candidates will pursue their own research and also contribute to the development of collective and collaborative research at the Institute. They will teach one course per semester, chosen in consultation with the Institute’s director, and advise students.
Salary: $55,000 (12 month) plus individual health and dental coverage.
The committee will begin reviewing applications on February 15, 2010.
