Having patent out of research is a dream of every researcher/scientist. A well planned research with strong intension for contribution produces patentable outcome in form of product, process, equation and model, etc having potential for real-life application. This workshop helps to understand design of patentable research and train participants on managing the process effectively. The workshop also equips participants with skills of commercializing their patents by sharing successful models.

WORKSHOP DESIGN:

The workshop follows very unique design of case-based learning. The workshop includes three case studies of patent research to be presented by the researcher. Each case study is followed by discussion on learning lessons, relation with our current practices and way forward for researchers, willing to do patent research. The workshop also includes lectures of experienced scholars on specialized areas of research like IP overview and ethics in IP management.

HOW TO ATTEND ON-LINE TRAINING WORKSHOP?

  • Desktop Computer/Laptop Pentium 3/4 with 512MB Ram
  • Windows 7/XP/Vista
  • Broad band Internet 1Mb or greater
  • A set of headphone along with mic

You can easily join an on-line session as there is no need of high cost dedicated video conferencing system. A hyperlink link will be sent to your email ID before the event where you will have to click that link, enter your name, email ID etc and the webinar software will be automatically installed in your PC within 3-4 minutes and you will get connect with live on-line session.

The similar practice will be for institutions if they want to have the same workshop in their conference hall, seminar room, computer lab, or in a class room; this virtual training session is just away from an internet connection, multimedia projector and a PC. The participants can enjoy all the benefits of an on-site training by listening and having direct conversation (oral and chat) with the trainer, viewing slides on multimedia and.

Note: For trouble free session, it is recommended not run any other program on your PC during webinar/on-line session.
