Welcome to Mrs. Smart's Classroom Resource Page
Physics is the most basic of the sciences. The field of Physics is usually divided into areas of mechanics, motion, heat, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, relativity, atomic structure and nuclear physics. This course will explore the fundamental ideas about how the physical world is put together and how it works. This will involve the combination of hands-on experiments and analytical mathematical skills. This course has been given the title honors, which means that the topics covered in the course a similar to those in the regular course, the depth will be greater and the mathematics will be more involved. Students should be aware that the semester exam may significantly affect the semester grade.
