Weekly Message

Welcome Back and Happy 2018!!

Our new year came in strong and furious with the subzero temperatures and gave us a quick reminder about being prepared for the weather.  Please remember to send your child to school with  snow pants, boots, hats, scarves and mittens.  We will be trying to get them outside as much as possible.  It would help tremendously if they come to school with an extra bag to put those extra pieces of clothing into.  This will help clear the clutter on the floor within our classroom.

We have wrapped up the 2nd quarter of the school year as of today, January 12th.  WOW ... it's hard to believe we have already completed half  of 2nd grade.  Some new things will start coming home during the 3rd quarter.  Students will soon begin learning cursive handwriting and a weekly reading fluency homework activity will start too.

Welcome Back!

*Important Note:  Please notify the office with any change in dismissal for your child.  That way we will be sure to get the message prior to the end of the day!
  • Please remember to check and sign your child's assignment sheet every night.  This is part of their nightly homework!
