May 2017

Our caterpillars are now waiting in their Chrysalis!

In our ongoing effort to be mindful of how to STOMP OUT BULLYING from our community, Kendall School is focusing on "Catching STARS" throughout the school year. Each month we will focus on one positive character trait to spell out the word STARS.
Our focus this quarter is to look for ways that we can be Respectful. This character trait is always important to practice and review. We are learning to think about how we speak and act toward others, both our friends and adults. We also are learning to be respectful to our school and the materials that we use every day. This sounds like a great skill to incorporate at home as well!
Everyone in school is on the look-out for signs of students who are Respectful. Anyone can nominate someone who showing this positive trait throughout the month. At the end of each month we will recognize two students from each class who demonstrated the highlighted trait in an all school assembly!
