On the left side bar, you will find links to the different encore classes offered in Technology and Engineering Education.  PLTW stands for Project Lead The Way, which is a national curriculum for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).  In D204, students at the middle school level are introduced to STEM through Design & Modeling (6th grade - 1 quarter class), Automation & Robotics (7th grade - 1 semester class), and Energy & the Environment (8th grade - 1 semester class).  A traditional shop course, Manufacturing (TEE 8th grade - 1 semester), is also offered and mainly focuses on projects constructed from wood.  During 2nd quarter, Study Skills for 7th grade will be offered.
