OBJECTIVES

• English Language Communication is aimed at equipping students with basic speaking, reading, writing and listening skills.

• Advanced English to students who have studied English up to Class 12.

• Intermediate English to students who have studied English up to Class 10.

• Basic English to students who have studied English up to Class 8.

• A student can also opt for English as a Foundation Course. The paper that is taught here is Language, Literature and Culture.

• A student interested in literature can opt for English as a Discipline to be studied in all the three years of her   undergraduate programme. This will familiarise her with a wide range of texts across genres and grouped around thematic concerns.
