OBJECTIVES

HRM

1)Information literacy, including the ability to locate, evaluate and synthesis large amounts of frequently conflicting information, ideas and data relevant to the study of HRM.

2)The ability to resolve problems creatively, using a range of different approaches and techniques, and to determine which techniques are appropriate for the issue at hand with regard to work related matters.

3)An appreciation of the social, environmental and global context of HRM and related activities, including the recognition of the ethical implications.

4)HRM provide More In Depth Knowledge of specialist HRM & IR functions such as: strategic HRM; recruitment and selection; remuneration and performance management; managing employment agreements; international employment relations; human resource development and workplace industrial relations.

Industrial relation(HRM)

1)Demonstrate knowledge of, and the implications of different perspectives of the employment relationship.

2)Critically analyse and solve workplace issues.

3)Apply HRM & IR competencies to contribute to organisational capability and employee wellbeing.

4)dentify issues and interactions between local and global employment relations and work enviroments.
