Mr. Alex Olson

Mr. Olson will be returning for his third year at ICS teaching 8th grade English Language Arts.  He is looking forward to another fun and challenging year, especially getting to know his students and helping them on their journey to success in their final year at ICS and beyond.  He was born and raised in San Diego and majored in English Literature at UC Santa Cruz before earning his single subject credential at and Master of Arts in Teaching at San Diego State.  In his free time, Mr. Olson enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Shawnee, dog Rusty, cat Craven, and his beautiful baby Scarlett.   Hobbies include cooking, reading, travelling, and fantasy football.
