Setup

This page explains the way to setup before starting to use infoScoop for Google Apps with Google Apps.





Note: If you use Google Apps for Work, please check the setting of OpenID and API access.
  Please access to your domain setting page from the link of "Manage this domain" on the header of Gmail.
  And allow users to login with OpenID from the following link. 
  [Security] > [Show more] > [Advanced settings] > [Authentication] > [Federated Login using OpenID]

  And enable API access from the following link. 
  [Security] > [API reference] > [API access]







1. Login to Google Apps with administrator account

First, login to Google Apps for your domain with its administrator account.

2. Click "Add to Google Apps" button on our website

Our website is here; http://www.infoscoop4g.com/


Click the button and will see the page of "infoScoop for Google Apps".

3. Click "Integrate with Google" button

Next, click [Integrate with Google] button.



4. Agree to the terms and data access

You need to agree to two terms and data access.
One of the terms is for infoScoop for Google Apps and the other for Google Apps Marketplace.
Read them and click [Accept] button.


5. Launch application

Click [Launch app] button.




6. Allow infoScoop for Google Apps to access the data in your Google Apps

If the page to enter domain like below, please enter your Google Apps domain and login.






7. Initial settings for infoScoop for Google Apps

Then the setup page is displayed.
With the description on the page, confirm setup items and click [Execute] button.




[Go to administration page and synchronize data] button and [Go to portal page] button are displayed like below after setup is completed.
At this time, only the Google Apps account that executed setup can use infoScoop.
Click [Go to administration page and synchronize data] button to go on to synchoronize Google Apps data.
Click [Go to portal page] button to log in to the portal page of this account. And go to 8. Check the portal page of "infoScoop for Google Apps".




8. Synchronize Google Apps data to infoScoop

Click [Add new rule] button.
Check the checkbox according to the description and click [OK] button.



Click [Run now] button in order to execute the synchronization rule.


If the synchronization finished, you can see the result in the Synchronization results table.



If you hover "Status", you can see the detailed result.



That's all for setup for "infoScoop for Google Apps".
Just click [Portal Screen] link at the upper-right corner of the screen, and will see the portal page of infoScoop for Google Apps!
