Hello!
My name is Becky Uchytil, and I have been working in the district since 2006. Independence is the only district that I've worked in, and I greatly enjoy it here :) I obtained my special education degree and masters of education at the University of Northern Iowa. I also obtained a math endorsement through the University of Phoenix. I have previously worked at the Junior Senior High School as well as the Buchanan County Success Center. I greatly enjoy working with students of all ages!
I live in Gilbertville where I grew up. I have four wonderful children and a pretty great husband. I love spending my free time with them :)
