Welcome to the West Elementary School's Counseling program website. West Elementary School serves 3rd grade through 6th grade.
Counseling services available for all students at West Elementary include: classroom guidance, individual and group counseling, parent consultation, crisis response, coordination, consultation, and referrals.
Students may see the counselor to discuss issues such as: peer relationships, troubled friendships, academic difficulties, inappropriate behavior, family conflicts/concerns, death/loss, low self-confidence, and stress.
Group counseling may include Friendship, Changing Family, Anger Management, Stress Management, and Grief/Loss. Students may see the counselor by self-referral, teacher referral, or parent referral.
