Now, you can improve your English Vocabulary on Telegram.

English Vocabulary on Telegram

When you join, you will get a word, a phrasal verb and an idiom with their meanings and usage on Telegram daily. All that you have to do is go through them in real time, then make sentences using these words, phrasal verbs and idioms and send them to us on Telegram only. Make sure that you also use them throughout the day.

Some tips to help you improve your vocabulary:

  1. Read the sentences as they are sent and not only at the end of the day. Timely repetition is crucial. When you look at all the sentences in one go you don’t get so much benefit from it. When you read the sentences as they are posted then your brain gets a dose of the word many times in the day. It helps you to remember the word, the meaning and the usage.
  2. Participate everyday - Make your own sentences and send them to us. If there are any mistakes we will try to correct them and send them back to you. Reading other's’ sentences is only going to help you in comprehension but making your own sentences is going to help your thought process and your brain will remember to use that word.
  3. Use the new words that you are learning in your thoughts and speech: Every now and then think about the new words. Try to imagine yourself in a situation and use these words in sentences in your thoughts. Also, try to create situations where you use these words proactively in a speech and conversations. Initially it will be a little difficult because we are not used to it, but with regular practice it will not only become automatic but you will also start enjoying it.
  4. Don’t try too hard: Don’t try to learn too many words in one day. Just go with one word a day. Create a trigger, for example, in the morning when you are traveling to office just think about the word of the day and try to make three different sentences in your mind. Also, make a resolve to use that word in three different sentences during that day. When you return from office try to make three more sentences in your mind. Don’t worry if you are not able to do it on any given day, don’t give up. Try again tomorrow.
  5. Don’t forget to use the words that you have already learnt: Keep repeating the words in your thoughts and in your speech and conversations. The more you will think about the words the more you will remember them. Try to create another trigger - Every time you go to the toilet try to remember one word that you have learnt in the past few days,
