English 11 and 12
Welcome to Mr. Olin's English classroom.

As we begin to read Shakespeare in Fall, we often find difficulty in the translations because of the archaic dialects used.  The video above can help with some of the pronunciation!

Years ago, a professor whom I admire greatly reminded me to never forget what I teach.  I teach students.  Though I have an expertise in the areas of English literature and writing, I teach because I love to share those language connections with students.

In turn, I always look forward to exciting classes of students who engage both me and their fellow students, daily. I look forward to our collaborative approach to your education as I gladly help teenagers reach their academic and professional goals.

High school goes by quickly, so I encourage each student to make each day count.  Work hard and maintain that passion to learn, and things will go well for you in high school.  My door is always open, so please feel free to contact me if needed.
