Worship & Fellowship
We meet together every Sunday at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm for a time of worship, followed by fellowship.
The What & How of a Sunday Morning
Child care is available in the nursery for children from infant through age two. All childcare attendants have been instructed in our church's Safe Church Policy, ensuring that all children in our care will be safe.
The order of worship is usually printed out and available for both services; the ushers will have these and hand them out as you enter the sanctuary. A separate bulletin called the Immanuel News with current information on church events and opportunities will also be available from these ushers or at the Welcome Center.
Midway during the worship service, children ages 3 to grade 2 will be invited to join the pastor at the front for a brief children’s message before being invited to leave for Sunday School. During the school calendar year, children up to grade 4 will also be invited to leave after the children’s message for Kids Connect, a focused church school program with different topics for each section. Children in grades 5-8 will be invited to leave after the sermon for Compel class where, using questions prepared by the pastor in advance, they will be led in a discussion about the sermon and how they can apply it in their lives.Children in Sunday School and Kids Connect can be picked up from classrooms in the basement. We would ask that you pick your child(ren) up from nursery and church school right away so that those caring for them are free to join a time of fellowship.FellowshipFollowing the worship service, there is a time of fellowship in the hall at the back of the facilities. We hope you will come for a coffee, tea, or juice to allow us an opportunity to get to know you, and you us.
