Biliary peritonitis due to typhoid perforation of the gall bladder – a case report

Gall bladder perforation (GBP) following typhoid fever is a very rare and usually fatal surgical complication of typhoid fever. The present case report is of typhoid perforation of the gall bladder in a young female, successfully treated by chole- cystectomy and appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
