The integral test for the remainder Rn of a series of positive, decreasing, terms that come from a continuous, positive, decreasing function.
11.4. The Comparison Tests.
The basic comparison test for two series with positive terms, and the limit comparison test. The comparison series is often something simple with known sum or known to diverge. We also obtained a remainder estimate for a target sequence by comparing to a known sequence with known remainder estimate (bounded using the Integral Test Remainder Estimate).
