I joined as an assistant professor in Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) in the year 2012. I got my PhD from IIT-Madras in 2004, and then went on to do post-doc in various places that includes a two year stint in INRIA, Rocquencourt, France, and later on at UCSB, USA.  My general research interests are mathematical modeling of gene regulatory networks and signalling dynamics.



Applications are invited for the post of JRF in DST funded collaborative project of AIIMS-Delhi & IIIT-Delhi

Title:  Identification of network pathways for drug targeting in Multiple Myeloma from NGS data using Deep Learning.

Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech/ BE/ ME/ MTech in ECE/CSE with good programming skills in machine learning/deep learning; Proficiency in coding in Pytorch/Matlab is required; Applicant should have done basic mathematics courses like linear algebra, probability, programming etc. in their degree program with good grades in these courses. Strong inclination to understand biological concepts is necessary for this research work as this project is about machine learning application to biological systems. UGC NET qualification will be desirable.
