ACM Research Scholar Event

(Sunday, Feb 16, 2014)

The entire proceeedings of the ACM India Main event of February 15, 2014 will be available live online at the ACM India Channel starting from 9:15AM! This included great talks by Vint Cerf, Shafi Goldwasser, Dave Patterson, Radia Perlman and others. Please join the channel and take advantage of this facility. Join ACM today! ACM is the largest and most significant professional association in the computing areas. Be a volunteer and be part of all that ACM stands for!
The Research Scholar Event will showcase a cross-section of topics in which research is being actively pursued within India. We have invited four leading researchers to deliver tutorial presentations on their work.

The target audience is fresh PhD. students in the initial stages of their own research.  For those who have not yet fixed an area to work in, this is an excellent opportunity to look for good research problems to work on. For those who have already chosen a topic, we expect that these lectures will provide a broad exposure to a variety of areas that could help reveal useful connections and trigger new insights in their own areas of specialization.
