The IIHS academic, design and advisory programmes will also draw upon the
experience of leading design, engineering and advisory practices from India and across the world.
IIHS has developed a global network of academic partners, anchored by lead institutions from the Americas, Europe, Africa and East Asia to complement domestic capability.
The IIHS’s globally benchmarked curriculum development process is anchored by two of the top-10 Universities in the world:
- MIT’s School of Architecture & Planning (SA+P) for North America
- University College London’s (UCL) Development Planning Unit (DPU) for Europe
- African Centre for Cities (ACC) University of Capetown for Africa
IIHS partners also include leading southern knowledge institutions like the University of Cape Town / African Centre for Cities, South Africa and global corporate leaders in design, planning and management:
This network thus involves over 150 leading academics, practitioners, public, business and civil society leaders from India and across the world in an 18 month process of developing an advanced interdisciplinary curriculum partially supported by the Rockefeller Foundation.
