    3. We need to love each other

    1. God give us hope, but we must seek him out.
    2. Who do you seek when you make plans?
  3. Genesis 2:15-17
    1. God knows that some truths come with guilt, death of innocence, pain.
  4. Genesis 3:1-5
    1. God wants us to experience life, but some paths produce death
    2. Satan wants us to experience things without God, this makes us question God; cynicism
    3. Are there areas in your life, you wouldn’t want God to know about?
  5. Romans 6:23
    1. When we turn to forbidden things, we earn a slow death
    2. Sin give us fear, shame, and pulls us away from God
  6. Romans 3:22-24
    1. All have fallen short
    2. Only through Jesus, can we be saved
  7. John 3:16-19
    1. Jesus paid the price for our transgressions
    2. God hears our cry for hope, and so he sends his son to rectify the decisions in life we have made.
    3. If there is a God, then why do tragic things happen, even to “good” people?

What does God offer you? Not a set of rules, but a mutual relationship with him. You may not know all the theology, but you can know that Jesus loves you and wants a relationship. He hears our prayers. He sends people to help us begin that relationship.
