A bachelor’s degree (in the US), a first year of a master (in Europe) or the equivalent diploma, representing a four-year course of study in an accredited college or university, is required for admission. A complete master’s degree is not required, although many applicants have a master’s degree in such fields as management, economics, engineering, and statistics. Superior academic performance is expected.
Each application will be carefully studied by the professors in the field of specialization, and by the Doctoral Programme Council composed of professors from all fields. For candidates selected in the first round of scrutiny, individual interviews will be organized. If the applicant cannot travel to Toulouse, a video/internet conference will be set up.
The academic year starts early September.
