Many people mistakenly think that simply using a device or a computer program is instructional technology. While those are both elements of instructional technology, just using them is not true technology integration.

True technology integration is using technology to modify and redefine the teaching and leaning in the classroom. Effective technology integration infuses technology as a tool to enhance the student's learning by assisting them in acquiring, analyzing, synthesizing and presenting information that supports and enhances the curriculum.
