How can you Help?

You can be a member in name only or you can become an active member.  The level of involvement is up to you!  Volunteering doesn't mean a huge time commitment and can fit into your time schedule.  A small amount of time translates into a huge impact to your child’s education.  We even have tasks that can be performed in the evenings and don't involve coming to the school.  We use a committee framework and there are a variety of committees that you can volunteer for!  Check out the Committees Section on this Website for additional information

Or if you would like to provide an individual contribution, just let us know.  Contact any PTO Officer – we’d love your help!

Volunteers are needed to help in organizing and running all events throughout the school year, or for individual tasks.  Check out this website for Volunteer Opportunities periodically! There are sign-up sheets for the various events/committees on the bulletin board in the school lobby.

If you don't want to sign-up for a specific committee, sign up for the Service-As-Needed Volunteer List.  This is a good option for parents who are not able to make an ongoing time commitment, but who would be happy to help out on a short-term basis if available  We will call on you as we need one time coverage.

Did you know?

When parents get involved in their children's education, grades go up, test scores go up, children become more likely to attend better schools after high school, they have fewer discipline problems, and they're less likely to use drugs and alcohol.  This is supported by more than 500 independent studies about parent involvement!
