Working in Schools

The BHA recognises the need for all young people to be able to engage with provoking and challenging questions about meaning and purpose in life, beliefs about God, ultimate reality, issues of right and wrong and what it means to be human. In order to support local schools and teachers to engage with what can be a difficult subject, the BHA School Speakers Project was set up in 2014. A number of School Volunteer Training courses were organised with local humanist groups to train volunteers and build a network of representatives who can provide schools with this much needed support, advice, and guidance.

Please consult the School Speakers Project FAQs page for more information.
